Trip to the Camen Islands, Summer 2003

We stayed at a condo right on the beach which had lots of sand and fun.

Here is a picture of the beach from our condo.

We had a fun trip on a boat where they took us around the island and feed us lots of delicious seafood.

We were taken to different parts of the island including a place where you could jump out of the boat and stand on a sand bar and feed stingrays as they swam by.  We also jumped off the boat and did snorkling to see all kinds of beautiful fish and coral.  Marvin owned the boat and did the trips.  He was in his eighties.

Here are the people from the boat snorkling.  The dark areas are coral.  They gave Dale a mask with glass that was adjusted for people with poor vision.  It worked great.

Each year there is a mile swim race.  Our friend Jan  joined in and won for her age group.

The car we rented was very different with the steering wheel on the right side of the car.  Here PEY is unloading the car.
